Dr. James Murrough is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience and Director of the Depression and Anxiety Center for Discovery and Treatment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is a Faculty member of the Friedman Brain Institute and a Primary Principal Investigator of the Center of Excellence in Neuropharmacology, both components of the Icahn School of Medicine. Dr. Murrough conducts clinical and translational research aimed at understanding the biological basis of mood and anxiety disorders in order to point the way towards new, more effective treatments.

In 2017 founded the Ketamine Center (Centro de Cetamina) in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he applies ketamine infusions for mood and pain disorders. In the academic field, he is a voluntary researcher in the Mood Disorders Group of Psychiatric Institute in the University of Medicine in Sao Paulo ( GRUDA- IPq – HC – FMUSP) working with anesthetic Isoflurane as a fast-acting anti-depressive.

Raquel Bennett, Psy.D. is a psychologist and ketamine specialist from Berkeley, California. She primarily works with people who are living with severe depression, bipolar disorder, and/or suicidal ideation. Dr. Bennett is fascinated by the antidepressant and anti-suicidal properties of ketamine, and has been studying them since 2002. She also has a long-standing interest in the psychedelic and mystical properties of ketamine, and the potential for this medicine to be used for spiritual exploration.
